Floor Videos - Simix Ceramic Coating
Step 1. Strip floors of all wax. Make sure all edges are done well. Next steps are done using auto scrubber.
Step 2. Auto scrub floor using one large scoop of SIMIX Multi-Surface Cleaner per tank of warm water. Make 4 passes using 220 diamond pads. Pick up slurry. This will start to smooth the floor and remove oxidation from years of stripping.
Step 3. Auto scrub floor with only 2 small scoops of cleaner per tank full on scrubber making 4 passes using 800 diamond pads. This will smooth the floor to the point that a nice shine is present. Pick up slurry.
Step 4. Auto scrub floor with diamond buff and 2 small scoops of cleaner per tank. Make 2 passes and pick up water. Let floor dry. If floor is without residue apply SIMIX Multi-Surface Ceramic Clearcoat.
Step 5. Shake SIMIX Multi-Surface Ceramic Clearcoat bottle well. Mix 4 parts water (Use distilled or double RO water) to one-part coating in pump up sprayer. Spray on floor and apply using laundered short, looped microfiber flat mop. Rinse mop head after 500 to 1000 sq. ft. of floor in warm clean water. Apply 4 thin coats. Apply each coat after floor dries. The coating will take from 5 to 15 minutes to dry.
Next day.
Clean floor with auto scrubber. 1 large scoop per tank of warm water and diamond buff pads. Make 2 passes and pick up water. Let dry Apply 4 to 8 coats.
For maximum shine, base coating for grocery store should be 8 to 12 coats.
The floor will increase in shine over the coming weeks with daily auto scrubbing with diamond buff pads. Try to use diamond buff pads 3x-5x per week for maximum clean and shiny floor.
